The Upper Black Forest is one of the most popular “motorcycling regions” in Germany. In the southern Black Forest, the Alb Valley meanders almost 30 km from Albbruck on the High Rhine up to the cathedral city of St. Blasien. Or the Murg Valley in the northern Black Forest: for more than 30 km, bend after bend winds its way from Gernsbach on the western edge of the Black Forest up to Baiersbronn, not far from Freudenstadt on the eastern side of the mountains.
