The Upper Black Forest is one of the most popular “motorcycling regions” in Germany. With its mountainous, winding and scenic routes around Lake Titisee and the Feldberg, it offers a wide range of riding opportunities. The varied landscape ranges from the deep gorges leading to the Rhine to the sunny heights. The driving pleasure on the high and panoramic roads, in the valleys and through the gorges is just as varied as the landscape itself. In the southern Black Forest, the Alb Valley stretches almost 30 km from Albbruck on the High Rhine up to the cathedral city of St. Blasien. In the northern Black Forest, the Murg Valley winds its way for more than 30 km from Gernsbach on the western edge of the Black Forest to Baiersbronn, not far from Freudenstadt on the eastern side of the mountains. These routes are ideal for a motorcycle tour and offer breathtaking views as well as numerous bends that will make every motorcyclist’s heart beat faster.
